Top-ranked prospect Gunner Henderson, 22, of the Baltimore Orioles, proved why he’s a future Most Valuable Player (MVP).

Henderson was named the American 메이저놀이터 League Player of the Week, Major League Baseball announced on Wednesday. It’s the first honor of his career.

In five games over the past week, Henderson batted .526 with three home runs, six doubles, five RBIs, 10 runs scored, a .550 OPS and a 1.603 slugging percentage.

He had a hit in every game, especially in the three-game series against the Kansas City Royals from the 10th through the 12th. Three hits on the 10th and 12th.

As a result, Henderson’s OPS, which had been sitting at .712, jumped to .804 on the 12th. If he keeps this up, he’ll be in serious Rookie of the Year contention.

Henderson has above-average contact and top-notch power, but he’s also been praised for his defense and baserunning.
