The Oakland Athletics, the lowest-ranked team in Major League Baseball (MLB), snapped an 11-game losing streak against the Atlanta Braves.

The Athletics defeated the Braves, 7-2, on Tuesday at Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, Calif.

The win snapped an 11-game losing streak for the A’s dating back to April 18 against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Trailing 1-0, the A’s scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to turn the game around. With runners on first and second,안전놀이터 Esteemed Lewis hit a tiebreaking RBI single, followed by a three-run homer by Ryan Noda.

In the bottom of the eighth, the A’s put the game away with three more runs on three hits and two wild pitches.

Despite the win, Oakland still has the worst winning percentage in the majors. At 11-45, they have a winning percentage of .196, less than two percent. Of the 30 teams in the majors, the A’s are the only one with a winning percentage below .300.

Oakland’s Japanese pitcher Shintaro Fujinami earned his first major league hold.

Entering the game as the team’s third pitcher in the eighth inning, Fujinami gave up a solo home run to Matt Olson, but pitched a scoreless inning to preserve his team’s lead.

Fujinami, who signed a one-year contract with Oakland, is 1-5 with a 12.13 ERA in 16 appearances.
