Hello everyone, I just wanted to share my thoughts with you on a hot topic in the cruise industry these days… .New Royal Caribbean, Oasis of the Seas! She is home to Fort Lauderdale all year round. My husband and I enjoyed spending two nights on board during a pre-inauguration travel agency/media familiarization cruise. I had my doubts about a ship this big… The largest ship at sea, 225,000 GRT (Gross Registered Tonnage) is higher than the Freedom class at 160,000 GRT. The ship carries about 6500 passengers and staff.

Before cruising… Too big, too many people, I thought was a monster I didn’t want to cruise through. I thought about it… .why do i need such a big boat.

well… I was wrong! This is an innovative ship. She has more things to do, see, experience, and enjoy than I could in a week. And even better, it’s easy to maneuver.

She has an ice skating rink, basketball 안전놀이터 court, mini golf, 2 flow rider surf simulators, zip line, mini golf course, 2 rock climbing walls, 5 swimming pools, spa, fitness center, large indoor theater, comedy club , Jazz Club, Piano Bar, Pub, Spanish Nightclub, Royal Promenade with Grand Parade, Aqua Theater, Casino, Merry-Go-Round, Shopping, Shopping and Shopping (Candy Store, Pets at Sea Store) (think Build-A-Bear) ), children’s boutique, youth boutique, COACH, Prince and Greene, Willow, etc.), 2 arcades, table tennis, great children’s pool, great children’s and youth clubs and much more.

That doesn’t even include the 24 restaurants. Yes, many of them charge extra, but they have some really cool choices, from the must-have cupcake shop on the Royal Promenade to Johnny Rockets and Seafood Shack on the Boardwalk, Izumi Japanese and Sushi Restaurant, and the ultra-upscale 150 Central Park. can. I’ve heard it’s really great with a gorgeous young chef who prepares indescribable multi-course meals. And I’ve never seen anything better than the buffet dining area on this ship. Windjammer Marketplace has windows overlooking the boardwalk, zip line, basketball court and mini golf course. We sat at the end of the zip line and enjoyed watching people’s faces traverse the 10-deck outdoor zip line on the boardwalk as we ate lunch.

This ship is the destination… .

When I’m lucky enough to return, I plan to take my kids (ages 15 and 12), although I’m sure I’ll never see them. Did we mention the great youth club? It’s tucked away from other kids’ clubs and convenient to a sports deck, wipe-out cafe (think pizza, hot dogs and soft serve) and a large arcade. There are huge beanbags to laze around in (just like teenagers love), a music studio, games area, what looks like a yoga area, and even an outdoor shaded hangout area.
