Gonzalo Higuain appears to be on Manchester United’s transfer list.

Transfer market pundit Rudy Galletti told Britain’s Give Me Sport on Monday (June 29), “The Red Devils are currently pursuing a deal for Hammers. Victor Osimhen, Harry Kane, and Dusan Blagojevich are among the players on United’s list,” he said.

The English Premier League (EPL) has come to an end for this season. Teams will now start planning for the summer transfer window. United is no different. The Red Devils will compete in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) next season. With a positive finish to his debut season, it’s time to move on.

United have a few positions that need reinforcement. One of them is up front. Cristiano Ronaldo left midseason, leaving Anthony Martial as the only option. They brought in Boutinho on loan in January to put out the fire, but now they need to bring in a solid card when Boutinho’s loan ends.

United’s plan is to bring in a top-class striker. Kane and Osimhen have been consistently linked since last season. Blahovic has been linked with a move to Juventus recently. Blahovic has also been linked with a move to United in the past after leaving Fiorentina.

Hamus, who impressed at the World Cup, is another candidate. Hamus is a 21-year-old Portuguese striker. He’s been with Benfica’s first team since 2020 and scored seven goals in 29 Portuguese league games (17 starts, 12 substitutions) last season.

He has been a regular in the first team this season following the departure of Darwin Núñez from Liverpool. Hammus, who has exploded with potential, has scored 19 goals in 30 league appearances this season. He helped Benfica win the league title.

His stellar performances earned him a spot at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He was included in Portugal’s final roster and played as a substitute 메이저사이트 during the group stage. However, at the time, Cristiano Ronaldo was being criticized for his form. Eventually, Hamus was given his first World Cup start after pushing Ronaldo off the bench in the round of 16 against Switzerland.

His presence was huge. Hamus scored a hat trick against Switzerland. In doing so, he became the first player in 20 years to score a hat trick in his first World Cup start since Miroslav Klose at the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup.

The variable is Hamus’ transfer fee. Hammers is contracted to Benfica until the summer of 2026. Benfica won’t easily let go of a young player with so much potential. His contract reportedly includes a €120 million buyout clause.

However, all of the players United are targeting are expensive. Kane and Osimhen will cost at least €100 million ($142.5 million). As for Blagojevich, he’s been underwhelming this season, but his move to Juventus cost €80 million. He is likely to command a similar transfer fee.
